General Assembly March 2012

The IAKS Section Switzerland held its General Assembly on March 29th in the Athletic Centre St. Gallen. President Dr. Stefan Kannewischer welcomed about 40 members. Successful events in 2011 were the General Assembly, the FSB trade fair / the IAKS Congress in Cologne as well as the artificial turf seminar. In 2011, the IAKS Section Switzerland could register a raise in the number of members from 83 to 88. The Executive Board and the auditors have been elected unisonously in the same manning.
Later, the participants visited the Athletic Centre St. Gallen which provides not only the triple sports hall and the athletic sports hall but also a climbing wall, accommodation facilities and a public car park.
Swiss record holder in 110m hurdle Andreas Kundert, explained the facilities of the athlete’s point of view. During the sightseeing tour also administrational and architectural aspects were pointed out.
