IAKS Section LAC at Expo Estádio 2011

Estimate foresees 50% growth in 2012

The third edition of Expo Estádio which took place from 22nd to 24th November 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil, received 5,000 visitors during the three days and is the biggest trade fair in Latin America that focuses exclusively on the infrastructure market for stadiums, fitness centers, swimming pools, sports fields and other sports installations.

200 companies, 30% of which were foreign, took their opportunity in this very important period of decisions with regards to the 2014 World Cup and the Olympics in 2016. Also the IAKS Section LAC who organized at the same time several workshops, was represented with a both where interested visitiors could get information about the activities of the IAKS Section LAC. Felipe Mujica, Vice President of the IAKS Section LAC, praised the organization: “The fair took place in a good place with good infrastructure. I think that the fair has high potential due to the quantity of exhibitors.”

The exhibitors were very satisfied, especially in terms of the quality of visitors; more than half of them have already confirmed their participation in 2012.

Visitors were able to explore many novelties, such as covering systems for stadiums and a state-of-the-art sound system; in addition Brazilian soccer player Ronaldo autographed shirts as a gift to trade fair visitors.

The next Expo Estádio will take place from 21st to 23rd November 2012 in São Paulo, Brazil
